Stateline Speedway hosts the Idaho 200 in July. Top superstock cars and drivers thrill the crowds for the two-day event. March through September is the time to enjoy stock car racing at Stateline Stadium and Speedway. And mark your calendar to attend the annual July 3rd Demolition Derby, a spectacular family event. Or you can even test your skills behind the wheel of a real stockcar at Competitive Edge Racing School.
Within minutes of Post Falls, you can stroll down the main street of a Victorian town at Silverwood Theme Park/Boulder Beach Water Park or experience the thrill of their famous Tremors and Timber terror roller coasters.
Just south of Coeur d'Alene, the Tribal Casino offers world-class gaming with over 1,000 slot-style video machines and high stakes bingo.
And right in Post Falls, visitors can place a bet on a dog or horse at The Greyhound Park and Event Center.
Just north of town is Sandpoint, home of the beautiful Schweitzer Resort and the annual Festival at Sandpoint.
Also nearby is the world's longest gondola at Silver Mountain in Kellogg, and the historic Cataldo Mission, built by Jesuit priests and local Native Americans in 1854 – the oldest building in Idaho.
Hiking, Biking & Climbing
The Centennial Trail, a 23 mile paved trail from Spokane, Washington through Coeur d'Alene, is ideal for a scenic walk or bike ride. Q'emlin Park (pronounced "Ka-Mee-Lin"), known for its natural climbing walls, also offers 14 miles of marked trails, as well as a city beach, public boat launch, and shady picnic facilities. Just two blocks from I-90 Exit 5 is Falls Park, where you can venture onto a platform overlooking a narrow canyon and view the Post Falls dam, with its dramatic 40 foot roaring waterfall. Also at the park, enjoy interpretive trails, a playground, picnic facilities and a stocked fishing pond for the kids, with wheelchair access. North Idaho is a region known for its secluded mountain lakes, clear blue streams and excellent fishing hotspots.

Cruises and Water Sports
Cruise the Spokane River aboard an authentic 100-passenger Mississippi sternwheeler, the River Queen; or if you prefer to navigate your own craft, water ski, jet ski, or fish, you'll find one of the many lakes, rivers and streams around Post Falls perfect for your needs.
